What is Raylo Pay?

Raylo Pay is a payment solution which allows you to lease your device instead of buying it outright.  By subscribing to Raylo Pay, you can be sure to pay the same amount every month for the duration of your contract, which will enable you to spread your payments over an agreed period rather than paying for the phone upfront.

How it works

●        Lease for less - Leasing means lower prices with no upfront cost and it's interest-free.  

●        Choose a term - Pick monthly rolling for maximum flexibility, 12 or 24 month term for regular upgrades or 36 months for lowest prices.  

●        Upgrade for free - At the end, either upgrade for free or leave Raylo Pay by returning your device. 

Raylo Pay will run a soft credit check to make a decision on your application in just a few minutes. If everything looks good, you'll receive your lovely bit of tech through the post and start enjoying it straight away.  All products returned to Raylo Pay go on to be reused in the circular economy which means a 50% reduced carbon footprint and e-waste free.

How to use Raylo Pay on 4gadgets website 

When you land on a product page you will be able to see the Raylo Pay widget underneath the short product description and above the blue "Add to Basket" button.  If Raylo Pay is available on that product, it will provide a “lease from” price.  If it is not available, it will say so.  You can also click on the "Learn More" link within the Raylo Pay widget for more information.

After you have added your product to basket, you will arrive at our checkout page.  Simply choose the Raylo Pay payment option, then you must tick the accept terms and conditions after choosing whether to subscribe to our newsletter and click place order.  At this point you will be redirected onto the Raylo.com website where you will be asked for a few additional details and then Raylo Pay will run a soft credit check to make a decision on your application.  If everything looks good, you'll receive your lovely bit of tech through the post and start enjoying it straight away.  

Once your contract ends, and you return your device to Raylo Pay, the products are then refurbished and reused.  That means every item can be used for its maximum lifespan and sustainably recycled.  This equates to a 50% reduced carbon footprint and e-waste free.

Who is Raylo Pay?

How does leasing work?

It’s simple. Choose the phone or device you want and the right lease length for you. Our partner Raylo Pay will run a soft credit check to make a decision on your application. If everything looks good, you’ll receive your lovely bit of tech through the post and start enjoying it straight away. At the end of your lease, you can either upgrade for free, talk to Raylo Pay about keeping it or return it to Raylo Pay hassle-free.

Is there a credit check?

Yes, there’s a soft credit check. That means if your application isn’t approved, don’t worry, your credit score isn’t affected. If everything looks good and your application is approved, then a full search will appear on your credit file.

Who provides the device?

4gadgets provides your tech and you will receive a confirmation email and delivery updates from 4gadgets.

When does my lease begin and end?

The lease begins when your order is confirmed and your first payment is due 30 days later. Your lease ends when you return your device to Raylo Pay, after your chosen lease term.

Do I need to worry about wear and tear?

Don’t worry, Raylo Pay offer a fair wear and tear policy. It’s ok to return your device to Raylo Pay under your lease terms with obvious signs use such as some deep scratching (2 or fewer deep scratches on front glass that are less than 3cm in length), small dents, discoloration or changes in the paintwork.

What happens if my device gets damaged?

If you return the phone to Raylo Pay damaged, Raylo Pay may charge you for the cost of repair as outlined by the Repair Charges set out in your agreement. 

What are the options at the end of my lease?

With Raylo Pay, you’re always in control. At the end of your lease, you can either upgrade for free, talk to Raylo Pay about keeping it or return it hassle-free. 

How do I return the device at the end of my lease?

Can I cancel my lease?

Please contact us to discuss early cancellations.  If you have reached the end of your lease, please contact Raylo Pay to discuss cancellation of your lease.

What happens when it’s time to upgrade?

At the end of your lease you can:

  • Simply upgrade for free and return your old device. You have 14 days to transfer your data – plenty of time.
  • Keep the device and continue paying monthly
  • Cancel your lease and return your device to Raylo. If you’re unable to return your device you’ll need to pay a fair fee.

Can you purchase multiple products via Raylo Pay?

For the time being, you can only order one product per order on Raylo Pay.
