What is a refurbished phone?

A refurbished device, also referred to as reconditioned, used or second-hand, is a device that has once been used by someone else and has been traded-in or sold to us in order for us to spruce it up and give it a new home.

The device will always go through a 90-point plan to check all the different components and hardware and make sure the device is in fully working order.  This will include the screen, buttons, ports, speakers, camera, microphone, software, wifi-connectivity and much more.  It will also include a battery check which must meet a certain threshold before we are able to sell the device.

Furthermore, we will then apply different grades to our devices – from pristine, excellent, good and fair.  This relates specifically to the cosmetic condition of the device, but the 90-point check will be completed across all devices and is no different per grade. You can then choose whichever storage size and colour suits your needs best.

All of our refurbished devices come with a 12-month warranty in case you run into any unexpected difficulties.
