Upcoming Phone Announcements - March 2020

As we draw close to the end of March, you can be forgiven for feeling like the month has gone on for a lifetime, seeing how much the world is dealing with. One thing that is remaining constant throughout this turbulent time though, is new mobile phone announcements. We will take a look at the notable upcoming releases for the remainder of March.

Redmi K30 Pro - March 24th

The latest Redmi phone is due for release on March 24th. This device is supposed to have a 60Hz AMOLED display, 2 64MP rear cameras and a Snapdragon 865 chipset. It's strongly rumoured to even contain 5G connectivity and an in-screen fingerprint scanner.?

Huawei P40 series - March 26th

The P40, P40 Pro and P40 Premium are scheduled for release shortly even with the drawback of not utilising Google Apps. The premium is expected to feature 2 zoom cameras, and all devices will have the "Galaxy S10 style" hole punch front cameras. Huawei are also featuring a curve in the screen to decrease the bezels as much as possible.

Realme Narzo 10 and 10A - March 26th

Very light on current details and photos, but the Realme Narzo 10 range is expected on March 26th. Rumoured to have a quad rear camera and a 5000mAh battery, it's shaping up to be a very nice budget flagship phone.

Xiaomi Mi 10 and Mi 10 Pro - March 27th

Xiaomi are finally ready to announce the successor to the majorly popular Xiaomi Mi 9, the appropriately named Mi 10. In pre-release testing, this phone apparently will boast one of the best cameras seen on a phone. That's enough to get us to take notice.

Honor 30S - March 30th

Honor are also lining up their next midrange powerhouse, the Honor 30S. The rather awkward naming system (it's Thirty S) shouldn't detract, its rumoured to boast a Kirin 820 chipset, which is assumed to be even more powerful than the Snapdragon 855 seen often in flagship models. Don't write this one off.

Honor Play 9A - March 30th

Expected to release alongside the 30S is Play 9A - Honor's affordable or low-end offering. It's most notable feature is a 5000 mAh battery, alongside a 6.3"? display and a 13MP dual rear camera.

Vivo S6 - March 31st

The Vivo S6 is probably the least lauded model on the list but boasting a similar style to the Huawei Mate 30 pro, as well as a 48MP camera and 5G connectivity, it's sure to get people to sit up and notice it.

Which one of these models are you most looking forward to? It's good to see some industries still able to proceed, even with the worldwide issues at the moment.
