As we all know, the World Health Organisation have now declared COVID-19 (or Coronavirus) a global pandemic. At 4Gadgets we are taking this situation extremely seriously, and we want our customers to know we are taking precautionary steps to ensure we are operating as safely as possible. We have put together a guide for our customers to give you as much information as possible as we try to navigate this tricky period.

Operations

As we deal in used tech, we take extra steps to prevent any possible spread of COVID-19. All devices that come into the building are cleaned with alcohol before being handled and when sales are made, all products are cleaned again before being bagged and shipped out. All our staff are required to wear protective items and have been supplied with hand sanitizer to minimize the potential spread of any infection, and are required to self-isolate if any symptoms of COVID-19 are experienced.

The new releases from Samsung are a great leap from the S10 released back in February last year.  With 5G becoming a lot more appealing for the public the Samsung Galaxy S20 and S20 Ultra will be the first 5G phone for a lot of people.

Samsung have recently announced the arrival of the Galaxy S20 and Galaxy S20 Ultra in their Galaxy unpacked event earlier on this week. The first obvious change is that Samsung have amended their naming scheme, moving away from the obvious “Samsung Galaxy S11” and going for the “Samsung Galaxy S20”, to bring the model number in line with the year of release. A shrewd and logical move! The Galaxy S20 is the cheapest handset from Samsung in the new range, and although it's not the most affordable phone that has ever been launched, it does bring compelling improvements to the camera, battery and offers 5G by default in many locations.

The main concern when it comes to buying used or second hand phones is the worry that you may receive a faulty device. Due to the nature of technology this cannot be completely ruled out, even with new devices, but we do our utmost in order to minimise the risk of customers receiving a faulty device.
