Xbox Series X - Everything you need to know

Xbox Series X - Everything you need to know

Microsoft's Xbox series X does look like quite the powerhouse, it is an 8K console that was originally previewed at E3 2019 and now confirmed to go on sale towards the end of this year. The new console is said to be four times more powerful than the original Xbox One X, so it looks like the PlayStation 5 has big competition.

What's New?

The new Xbox will have an all-new tall tower design and a redesigned?wireless controller. Gamers will?experience more time playing and less time waiting, as loading times will greatly be decreased thanks to the processing power of the new Xbox.

The console will also feature a 'Whisper-quiet' fan as part of the parallel cooling architecture the fan keeps the Xbox internal components cool without disturbing your game play.

The new console will also offer more storage without the compromise with the storage expansion card which provides additional game storage at peak speeds. The 1TB storage card is inserted straight into the back of the Xbox via the dedicated storage expansion port.

Games and Bundles?

The Xbox Series X has a lot of exciting games confirmed, but apart from?Halo Infinite, we do not know which will be the big launch titles. That makes it tricky to know which will be offered as bundles.

Having said that, some of the biggest titles are usually partnered with a new console. This year's instalments include?FIFA 21,?Fortnite,?Rainbow Six?Siege?and?Assassin's Creed Valhalla, all of which are confirmed for the new console.

We can also expect the Xbox Series X to come bundled with accessories like wireless controllers and subscriptions to the online gaming platform Xbox Live.

Release date and Pre-Orders:

Microsoft has not yet opened pre-orders for the Xbox Series X, we?expected pre-orders to go live following the E3 games conference, but the June conference was cancelled sadly because of the coronavirus pandemic.

You can be one of the first to know when to pre-order however as Microsoft will allow you to sign up to an alert on their website.

With 2020 shaping up to being a big year for Video Game Console releases, we are exited to see what comes and our fingers are crossed for a confirmed release date very soon.
